BobwithaSonyproblem Unregistered guest | I have a 7-year old Sony STR-DE915 receiver that worked great until a couple of weeks ago. No matter the input source, I'm not getting any output from the main left or right channels through the speakers OR headphone output. The center and rear surround speakers still work fine. I've checked the wiring and also tried switching to the 'B' speaker connections with no luck. Also checked the speaker settings, soundfield off/on, direct pass, etc. Is this something that's fixable (or worth fixing)? Thanks in advance! |

Time to get a new receiver. Personally I'd make a beeline for that $230 Panasonic sa-xr55 all-digital. http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=530504 |

The silver lining here is that it's given you a golden opportunity to get much better gear for not much money at all. |
