Why don't more companies adopt HK's triple/quaduple crossover bass management system? It makes perfect sense if you want to get all you can out of your (usually pretty expensive) speakers. Example. I have a NAD 763 with Paradigm 40s for my fronts, 470 center and 470 surrounds. The 40s and 470 center go down to about 55 while the 470 surrounds only go down to 100. If I'm setting all of my speakers to "small" (as I should) then where do I set my crossover? At 60 or 100? Either way I won't be getting the "most" from all 3 sets of speakers unless I exchange the surrounds for speakers with a similar frequency response as the 40s. HK's crossover system seems to eliminate this problem. They even let you set a crossover for speakers set to "large." Maybe this is propriatary to HK? It just seems to make a lot of sense to this novice.
