I am looking for a HT receiver to be used with my Ascend Acoustics CBM-170 speakers. And I was looking to Onkyo 901, but I son't like the sound. And I don't like either the new Denon 3805. And I am stucked. My budget is limited in flexibility. So, in the $1200 - $1400 price range for what receiver should I look for - I don't need more than 5.1 and I don't need either to much power - my room is a normal apartement room and we listen low levels. We are aware only about the sound quality and the reliability of the product.
