Hey, guys. I would like to take you all onto a trip back in time. Let's rewind back a year and four months. Back then, I used to own a Sony shelf stereo. The system could store 60 CDs, and the model number and name was the Sony MHC-GS100. A few months before I graduated high school, the CD player started skipping on a lot of my CD's. It was very annoying. What made this even more annoying was that when I took the skipping CD's out and then put them back in again, they would play fine. They also played fine in other CD players too. Fast forward back to the present time, and I now have a question. Are all Sony CD players this troublesome? I am asking about both mini-system and separate CD players.
HITACHI BUILD QUALITY.From web page:Hitachi Global Support Form Subject: Guarantee and quality Product Category: Hi Fi
Question: I took a stereo micro system back to Curry's where I got it from 15months before and because it was out of guarantee the would not repair it.. Yes I know it was out of guarantee but I am very disappointed with the build quality of the AX-M67 STEREO. I am an enginner and inside the unit I found what I could only say was a pcb with components thrown together and glued. A pair of capacitors were within a heat sink and were leaking electrolite. If I had paid £10 for it I would not complain, but whats all this about Hitachi quality and inspire the next, looking inside the product does not inspire me. Fine words but not fine products. If anyone wants a photo of the pcb inside let me know. I can back up what I say. Hitachi is off my list for christmas and the new year.
