These sound better than 95% of the stuff available on goodguys, circuitcity, bestbuy, etc. You would have to goto a specialty shop and pay more to get equal. Go listen to speakers and select them based on which within your budget sound best to you. If you can, audition them in your home. Once you decide on speakers, it isn't going to make any audible difference which receiver drives them. All this talk of "warm" vs. "bright" with respect to modern amplification is nonsense. Virtually all of today's better components are flat in response well beyond our ability to audibly discriminate. |
