Hey guys, I would like some of your expert opinions on how the match between the Yamaha receiver and a Bose AM10 Series 3 speaker system would be. I like Bose speakers and want to get a quality receivers. around $390 for a Yamaha RX-740 sounds nice, no? Thanks ahead of time!

would not try yamaha with bose. if you want to stay with yamaha try speakers from psb and paradigm. If you want to keep the bose speakers, then i i would suggest the Onkyo TX-SR601 for $499 or the Marantz SR-5400 for the same or lesser price as well as the new line of the H/K receivers. but it really up to your ears. i would say try the yamaha and bose setup. only you would like setup. if you dont, then try the other brands i reccomend. Also I would also ask Elitefan and Hawk for your decision.

Thanks, appreciate the input. I will try to see how they (yamaha + bose) sound together. If I don't like it, I will look into the Onkyo or new H/K receivers!
