On but off topic regarding NAD T752 and Nad C541i (cd)

Okay I have a Nad T752 receiver and recently I hooked up a NAD C541i cd player...
The problem is when I turn on my T752 (via remote) it turns on my C541i and the same goes for the power off (via remote... I've tried using the cd player remote and it does the same thing and I tried also running a 12 volt trigger input into the cd player from the receiver (with the trigger switch set to \"auto\" on the cd player ) and it still goes off and on with the receiver... Please tell me there is a way around this and why are the remote codes the same ?
