Can anyone tell me if I can hook up an older non-powered subwoofer to a newer surround system that only has an RCA sub out? The sub only has a regular speaker 2-wire connection. Any help, instruction, advice is appreciated.

You'd need, at least, a power ampliflier to do. Preferably one with a gain control (volume dial).
