wardy Unregistered guest | I am using a Project Debut 2 turntable and am generally pleased with the quality of sound I get from it, however I do notice a considerable degradation of sound towards the end of a side. I'm wondering what I need to adjust in order to minimise this effect - would a different shaped stylus improve things or is my turntable just set up incorrectly? There doesn't seem to be a whole lot that's adjustable on it (anti-skate only has three settings and counterweight isn't adjustable.) Another thought is that I am playing a lot of second hand vinyl which could have been previously played on an incorrectly set up table, damaging the records - in which case I guess there's not much I can do? Any thoughts? |
