hi, I'm new in this field and i want to get some idea and suggestion from expert. I plan to buy a A/V receiver(6.1 channel) next week. My budget is $350.

Pioneer 1014, no-brainer for that price category.
Or you can check out the new all-digital receivers like the JVC RX-F10, $230 shipped (amazon.com) and Panasonic SA-XR70, around $300.
