Posted on I know that it's best that you use matched speakers from the same co. but how much does it matter with regards to the sub? |

Posted on Maybe Im going out on a limb here since Im not the sub expert, but I'll say not at all.....zero. Since all the low frequencies will go exclusively through your sub, what would it have to match?? Now, if you buy two subs.......they should match if you plan to play them in the same room. |

Posted on "Now, if you buy two subs.......they should match if you plan to play them in the same room." Not if you run them with a high-low pass crossover. You could have an 8-10" running the 40Hz+ range and a 12+" strictly for below 40Hz. |
