Ipod to Receiver

A 1/8-mini to RCA cable will do the trick. As Kano points out, there are also adapter packages that allow you to obtain line-out without using the Dock. The headphone out at the top of the iPod is not line level but either way, the signal passes through the iPod's EQ.
