Both receivers are older models that only do simulated surround at best and both sound awesome with the 901s. I have to say that sometimes I am a bit envious when I see how little they spent and how great thier stereo systems sound, Go with the Onkyo or comparable Yamaha. H/K have some reliability issues sometimes. Oh, and I have found the lower end Yamahas to have a more soothing, Pleasing sound than the lower end Onkyos. Migrain |
