HK receivers get very good reviews from pros and consumers alike. They have power very good sound and build quality. Why do specialty stores not sell them? It seems like they are mostly sold at Circuit City.
I believe, because of the mass production, the big box chain stores have bought into HK in a big way. It makes it difficult for smaller specialty stores to compete.
