I am trying to connect my Toshiba SD2805 DVD to my Sony DE597 but get no video out put to the TV. The DVD used to be connected throught the VCR and worked fine. The VCR is connect to the DE597 and working fine.
I've connected the DVD using various approaches all produce sound but no video.
1) Connected DVD analog video and audio L/R to DE597's DVD Video and audio L/R. Sound no Video.
2) Connected DVD coaxial digital to DE597 DVD coaxial. Sound not video.
The TV video in is connected to the DE597 to allow the vCR to properly run and I assumed that that should be the same for the DVD.
