Wednesday, February 09, 2005 - 17:56 GMT If I use the rca audio out on my reciever and convert it to digital audio will I get the surround sound environment on my acoustic research surround wireless headphones. Or is the reciever going to be using basic analog stereo on the rca outs. Will the converter actually help to create a surround environment on the heaphones.

Friday, March 25, 2005 - 19:24 GMT No. Surround sound has to be encoded into the original signal. Your new digital recording should be an exact duplicate of the analog original.

Sunday, November 27, 2005 - 18:36 GMT I will assume this is still an open discussion and tell Chris he needs a stand alone CD recorder and a playback cassette deck with analog outputs.
