Anonymous | The dropout is from the digital signal getting nixed by weather. I had this happen frequently with my DirectTV system and my stereo. |
| Hello, I have a Yamaha RX-V3000. The sound cuts out on my receiver during DVDs. I've tested this using a Panasonic & Toshiba DVD player. Each were tested with digital coaxial & optical audio connections. Unfortunately, the sound would cut out during playback. I notice this happens on every DVD; and, each DVD is clean and not scratched. Have you heard of a way around this? |
Anonymous | I have a Yamaha DSP-AX2 and a Yamaha DVD-S1200, i never have drop outs, and a DSP-AX2 is the same as a RX-V3000 only without a radio. I think your dvd-player can't handle with Dolby EX 5.1 , 6.1 signals. |
ELT | Mark S, I have RX-V1300 and also have the same problem, but mine is only happen to some DVDs only not all of them, so I suspect that the problem is not the receiver but the DVD |
Anonymous | The cut out or sound drop is common in dual layer DVDs and occurs when transitioning between layers. |
