Been lurking and have a question. I'm considering a NAD receiver, and have been looking at the 753. I'm planning on pairing it up with Pradigm monitors. My dealer, however, has a 762 sitting on a shelf and is offering it at the same price as the 753. The 763 is out of my price range, so the older 762 is tempting. What do you think? Should I go for the 762?
The NAD T753 decodes Prologic 2x, while the T762 is more powerfull, adds an extra component in, plus it can be controlled through an rs232 port with the software supplied with NAD. The power supplu within the Th762 is a huge Toroidal power supply. The latest firmware version is 1.22. If prologic 2 x is a must for you then go for the T753, else I would opt for the T762!
