I want to feed the output from the Onkyo "center channel" to a center channel input on a JVC HD-52Z585 (the JVC allows it's speakers to act as the center speaker on a surround sound system) . This works, however, the center channel receiver output is controlled by the volume on the receiver (as well as the volume on the TV). The surround and front speakers drown out the center speaker. My wife has a hearing impedement and I am trying to accent the center speaker as this is where the voice comes from. Can any help on this? Is there a inexpensive amplifier that can take the center channel output from the receiver and feed the preamplifier on the TV so I can raise the volume of the center channel. Thanks
Thanks Christopher, I wanted the TV's remote control to raise or lower the volume of it's center speaker as needed, and not the volume of the other speakers.
