Speaker insulation

J. Vigne Unregistered guest	Posted on Thursday, January 27, 2005 - 15:18 GMT The material inside your speakers provides acoustic dampening; both to the cabinet and the backwave of the drivers. It affects what is called the "Q" of the speaker system. To understand more about its use, you might want to look at some sites on speaker design.
