Ipod used as amp input

Boating Unregistered guest	Posted on Sunday, January 09, 2005 - 17:13 GMT Is it possible to connect the output of an ipod directly to the input of an amp. I would like to use just an amp with no reciever for use in a boat. Any information would be appreciated.
