PaulM Unregistered guest | I recently purchased a sourround sound system including Athena as-f1's, as-c1, and as-r1's. I'm trying to find some decent adjustable stands for the AS-R1's. I tried this incredibly overpriced set from BB, "http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1051826211561&skuId=5423687&type=prod uct", but they are too flimsy. The speakers weigh about 10lbs, and I would like a pair that look similar to the ones from BB. Any ideas, suggestions? |

It's an effort to build, but after seeing how flimsy the store bought ones were, I decided to go for it. The most difficult part is finding a place that sells lumber and has a cutting facility to saw the wood you need to your own specified size. After that, some sturdy angles, some screws, black spray paint, and you're done. |
