I bought a CA amp back in July. When I'd had it a little while I discovered my speakers were the wrong impedance for it.
Since then, It's been sitting in storage until I could buy some better matched speakers. Believing the Gale 3030s to sound really good with it, I bought a pair and hooked them up to my ancient NAD, which has been lovely with AND without the Gales.
I've just got it out to try, hoping for something spectacular with the very fine Gales - and what a let down! Thin, weedy - John A. - I owe you an aplology - THERE IS such a thing as an emaciated sound. I have just such a phenomenon on my hands after spending good money which is now probably gone past it's return garauntee.
Lot of people taking Azurs back and demanding C352s I notice!
You bought some Gale speakers. In your opinion how good actually are Gale speakers say compared to my Diamond 9.1s, I heard some in a shop and thought they were pretty decent about a week back-for shop speakers!
