New member Username: Voodoo612Post Number: 1 Registered: Jan-05 | I am a newbie and have a small room 17 x 13. I'm looking for a sound system for my 42" sony lcd. I have been reading a lot of forums and reviews. I'm thinking of getting the Yamaha HTR 5760 at etronics for $319 and the Onkyo SKS - HT240 at B&H for $329. My question is will these two sound good together? They both got good reviews from other sites that I checked, but I'm not sure what makes a speaker set and receiver work well together. It seems like a good system for $700, is it??? Please help. Don't burn my too bad, like I said I'm pretty new to this. Thanks in advance. yamaha reciever http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?icatid=4118&stk_code=yamhtr5760&svbname=293 Onkyo speakers http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?A=details&kw=ONSKSHT240&is=REG&Q =&O=productlist&sku=325891 |

Its not listed as an authorized Yamaha dealer. Yamaha will not honor the warranty. Check out the list here: http://www.yamaha.com/yec/customer/dealer.aspx |
