Is it possible to hook up 1 audiobahn sub to a stereo system

hey guys i got a 400 watt rms amp. and a 400 watt rms audiobahn sub. i was wondering if there was anyway i could hook up my cars amp to my stereo. will and regular ac/dc converter work or how can i make this happen.
