I bought both but cannot decide which one to keep. Athena appears to be bright whereas Polk appears to be little cleaner. Although Polk R30 is a floor standing speaker it does not sound like one. Athena AS-B2 appears to be louder than the Polk. Does anyone have an opinion about these speakers? BTW, I don't have any other speakers.

Athenas, hands down. The R30 delivers lots of bass and not much else.
The Athenas' brightness will probably decrease after they've been broken in enough.
