Wondering about buying a Nad T753 for use in a smallish room. I currently have a setup which uses two fronts and two rear speakers for Prologic, with the front speakers providing a 'virtual' centre speaker. I would like to keep the same arrangement with the new amp. I believe that most AV receivers will share the centre between the fronts if told that there isn't a real one present. Can anyone confirm that the NAD works like this?
Thanks

i did this for a while with the 763. i would say it worked just ok.
even in a small room, i think it works a lot better with a center channel. music is fine, but dialogue on DVDs using Dolby Digital or DTS just wasn't very clear w/o the center.
great receiver, btw. both the 753 and the 763.
get a small satellite speaker and make it your cc. i think you'll notice the difference.
