My c.d. player is a 1980-something Pioneer c.d. player. It is having difficulties reading discs. I tried cleaning the lense with a lense cleaning disk, but that didn't work.
Does anyone know of any good but not too expensive c.d. players? Thanks.
I do think the two formats can co-exist. My DVD player will play DVD-A AND SACD.
I like DVD-A over SACD mainly because of the video capabilites. You can view multimedia on your TV screen while listening to the music. For example pictures, lyrics, biographies, etc. Also, there can be video on the same DVD...interviews, special features as an example. I think the DVD-A have a better sound also. Anyone who likes DVDs would appreciate these features when listening to music. This just can't happen with SACD.
My car cd player will not recognize any cd I put into it. It just reads ERR and ejects the cd. The player never tries to read it, the radio keeps playing. I tried a cd cleaner but it won't recognize that either. Should I look to buy a new one or take it to a shop for repairs.
