I am building a home theater system that I will use for both music and movies equally. I have the following hooked up as a current system:

Samsung 32" Dyna Flat HDTV Monitor
JVC XV-FA900 Direct Digital/Prog. Scan DVD
Sony STR-D711 receiver
Sony SS-MF400H fronts (will replace eventually)
Klipsch SS1 Rears and SC1 center
iMac (music)

I want to replace the Sony with a Denon AVR-3803 receiver. I want to add on a SVS 25-31PC-Plus sub and after I pay the bill on those two purchases replace the Sony fronts with Klipsch reference Series fronts. Does anyone out there have a similar set-up? Any advice on alternative equiptment I should be looking at? All advice appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you heard the Klipsch with the 3803? I have and do not think it's a good combination at all. The Denon is very bright to my ears and the Klipsch while very nice are the brightest and at times harshest speakers I know of. I would pair the Klipsch with a mellower receiver like a H/K. Marantz or Elite.
