Wondering why none of the big companies have not made a mp3 boombox.I'm not talking about the boomboxes that play mp3 discs,I'm talking about taking a hard drive like that in a iPod and putting it in a box with am/fm cd and maybe cassette. Why must mp3 players all be personal.I'd like to be able to share my music with friends and family, say at a picnic, campout,at work.Sure they've got the fm transmitters but I haven't heard anything good about them at all. Now with a hard drive in a box you could maybe get all your cds in it right through the cd drive, maybe record radio special concerts or talk shows right to mp3.Maybe put a burner on it so you could burn your friends a cd on the spot. just wondering what you all thought of this idea and maybe if there is a reason why noones built this yet?Wouldn't you think there'd be a market for it I know I'd save my pennies to buy one.
