Hooking my new SR5500 up for the first time. Having a MAJOR problem in that it goes into "Protect" mode after 'x' amount of time. I've only got my front and center channels hooked up (need to rewire for backs and sub). Other than that I have a CD and DVD player hooked up but I turned those off to take it out of the equation (connected but off). So my input sources are: TV-Digital optical audio, and speakers (6-8 ohm Klipsch) with new 18 aug speaker wire, Samsung SIR-360 DirecTV receivers Audio Digital coax. Nothing connected to the receivers AC outlets. --I'm a real neophite and haven't really programmed anything, does it matter that I don't currently have the sub and rears connected?
