I would mostly be using these for movies, but I would like them to do well with music as well. I'm looking for a sound that is natural and detailed. I think I usually go for a brighter sounding speaker, but I don't want them to be too bright. Just accurate. My budget is $400 or less for the pair. I like the Infinity beta 20's which are in this price range, but I just want to see what else is out their. Thanks for any help. |

I ended up listening to B&W 601 s3's and some Acoustic Energy speakers, although I'm not sure which model. I liked both, but I like the AE speakers a bit more. I found a place locally that carries Pardigm, which I have heard good things about so I'm going to check them out probably tomarrow. I'm trying to decide if I should put my money into a better receiver or if speakers would be the way to go. My receiver is an older model Kenwood, I think Vr407 it's called. Anyways, thanks for the help. |
