Does Energy center channel match with Polk?

Fronts: Polk R50
Rears: Polk RTI4

Looking at ENERGY CENTER chanell speaker(XL-C100B-1)used. Was wondering if that would match?

What type of sound does Polk or Energy have compared to others?

Energy tends to be on the brite side and polk tends to be a little warmer sounding. Since U already own polks, U should get a polk center channel so that way u'll have better tamber, and voice matching.

By all means get a Polk center. You can find a matching center for $150 or under.

I would go with the csi30. Crutchfield has it for $149.99.

Buy the best model you can afford. If you can swing $200 then go for it. The center is the most important speaker in a HT system and shouldn't be skimped on.

THANKS!!! you guys are all really helpful. I should be getting my H/K 7200 matched with Polks in the front.

I have Polk Rti4's in the back, but I'm thinking about trading them in for Paradigm Mti30's. What do you think realelitefan? (or anyones opinion)
