HK3480 with Beta 20s or e50s?

I was looking at either the Infinity Beta 20s or JBL e50s. To me it seems the e50s are better speakers but the pricing is very similar and I must admit I don't understand a lot about home audio. Another question is about a subwoofer. Would it be worth getting a sub with this setup? I listen primarily (but not exclusively) to rock. Any comments much appreicated.

For the price, you really can't do much better. The HK3480 is 120 wpc and that is high current power. The beta's have very good mid and upper detail. The treble is smooth and not overly bright. The beta system was reviewed in Sound and Vision mag a couple months ago and received a very good review. Hope that helps!
