I'm looking for a 7.1 receiver for music and movie. My speakers Wharfedale Valdus400,Valdus Centre ,Valdus200 and Cubic 10 sub. My DVD Player Marantz DV6400

hello selcuk this is kerim from istanbul i have prety much the same dilemma but for a the lower models of the above mentionned receivers therfore i will fallow up your posts carefully if you are thinking abou upgrading your speakers for quad's keep me informed i have the chance to get a great deal on those i will get mines pretty soon.
I have no knowlege of the Wharfedale speaker range to recommend a suitable receiver, but for their musical prowess I would choose either the Marantz 7500 or the NAD T763.
