I noticed that Marantz has replaced the SR5400 with the SR5500.

SR5500:
90 watts (into 8 ohms) x 7 ch "Current Feedback" Amps
192 kHz/24-bit D/A converters for all channels
32bit DSP

vs.

SR5400:
90 x 6 all discrete amplifier channels
192kHz/24-bit DACS for all 6 channels
32-bit custom DSP chipset

Don't know the price for the SR5500, but here's what it looks like
