I am new to this home theater stuff, and am in the process of putting a system together. I have ordered Phase Technology's Velocity system speakers, using a pair of V-12 towers, a V-6 center, two V-surrounds, and a H1200 12" Subwoofer (250 watts). I found what i think is a good deal on these new ($1725 for all the speakers). I am looking at running these with a Sherwood Newcastle R863T receiver, that has 6x100. Will this be enough to power these speakers, and is this a good match? I found a good deal on the receiver, and am trying to determine if they'd work well together. Thanks for the help......
