Which receiver to use with Chario Premium 2000 speakers?

Hi everyone, I just bought a pair of Chario Premium 2000 as front speakers, I love them!! they're great for jazz-classical and for movies. Do you have any suggestion as to which receiver to add to it for under $1000? I read somewhere that Marantz is a good match with Charios... I'm looking for something that boosts the middle frequencies a little bit, since the Charios lack a bit of those... thanks! Angelo
