Which of these copmanies is has the best reputation for a quality product?

Marantz Denon HK Onkyo
I am looking for a new cd player for $500 or less and these are the brands that were recomended to me. If any one has any thoughts on these brands I would like to know what you think. I dont know but I've heard Harman Kardon isnt producing as good of products as they have in the past.
I would suggest Cambridge Audio 640C or Nad 542 (favorite)

To answer the question which of these companies has the best reputation I'd say Marantz and you'll buy with the Marantz cd 7300 an excellent cd player. NAD and Cambridge Audio even have a better reputation nowadays, that doesn't mean their products are better than Denon and Marantz. Although many NAD owners will suggest that In the end it's all a matter of personal taste. To list a few well reviewed cd players: Marantz CD 7300 Rotel RA-02 and Cambridge Audio 640C and NAD C542 as mentioned by Vols.
