Hi everyone! I have a question, i currently have a Creative I-Trigue 2.1 setup hooked up to my laptop, and I want to buy 4 Bose Cube speakers. the speakers dont come with subwoofer or amplifier or anything, just the four cube speakers. Can I hook them up to the subwoofer of my current Creative system, thus replace my 2 current speakers with the 4 bose cube speakers? and how do I do that? Thanks for any suggestions!!!
Since it's a 2.1 system the best you could do is to split the 2 channel outputs into 4 speakers.

Bose is overpriced and tailored towards a specific sound. Which sounds fine for some things and terrible for others. It is also overpriced considering the materials they use. Also, Bose cubes are rather inefficient and require a good powerload to sound right.
For $200 you could upgrade to the Logitech Z-5500, which has true 5.1 and plenty of power for a laptop set-up. That would be my best advice for your situation.
