Hi,
I had a question... i'm new to this stuff.
I have a receiver that has all optical inputs. However, my cable box has a coaxial output. Is there anything out there I can buy to take a coaxial output and connect it to an optical cable?
Thanks. If not, any suggestions?

Yes, adapters like that do exist and they're not even very rare. Try google.
