New member Username: TechiecoolPost Number: 1 Registered: 01-2004 | hi all, this forum seems really informative. i really don't know much in this area so i figure i can leverage your knowledge. my room is 15ft x 13ft w/ 9 foot ceiling. i mostly watch movies, little to some music. my tv is an older sony that has svideo and composite (i am looking to updgrade w/in next year, sony or jvc maybe). i have a sharp vcr. and have to buy a dvd player. i was hoping to be able to use the receiver to handle svideo in/out for all the components (how many svideo in/outs would i need). the speakers are speakercraft in ceiling 6in crs two (not the best but convinient). and i was thinking about either the jvc 8030 or pioneer 812. i like the jvc because in the future i could use compulink to control everything. i am open to suggestions...but i am trying to spend around $300. |
