Need advice for speaker set up, plz help!

I have 4, 8 ohm speakers and a two channel amp wich can run at 4 ohms and wondered would i'd get any benefit from connecting the 4, 8 ohm speakers in parralell (2 to each channel) to get a 4 ohm load on each channel.
