Pixel Unregistered guest | Can anyone give me hint whether the Energy Encore speakers are considered bright or laid back? I'm looking to match these speakers with a HK AVR 330 but I was also considering an Onkyo 601. I'm not sure which one will match the best. |

New member Username: EdisonPost Number: 281 Registered: 12-2003 | They are just about right to me (with a hint of brightness) and would sound better with an onkyo (especially models 800 and above if you can spend a little more) - This one is a refurb. but this won the best receiver under $1000 in a Hifi magazine.
