I have a set of Logitech Z-Cinema 2.1 speakers that I got for a good deal for my laptop and was wondering if anyone knew if it's possible to connect an amplifer? I believe that there already is an amp inside of the sub. The system already puts out a pretty sufficient amount of volume and bass, I'm just looking for a little something more when we have bigger parties and want louder music.

I appreciate any help that you guys can send my way.

Thanks.Upload

You don't amplify speakers. They don't output audio. They input/accept audio.

I would like to link my Mini-Stereo Amplifier speakers to my
laptop. I already have the rca cables and the y-connection for my laptop. But I am having trouble figuring out how to disable my Laptop speakers and enable my Amplifier speakers in control panel.
I have a Dell dual core i5 cpm M @450 64-bit S1
4.0 GB Ram, Intel HD Graphics and am
running Win 7 Home Premium.

If someone could help me I would really appreciate it.

I hope I posted this in the correct forum.

The link is at HP.com but is appropriate for any PC with Windows 7
