I would like to lose all the discs and just have them on hard drives hooked up to my TV. What is the easiest and most cost effective way to do this? I don't want cables across the room from my computer. A barebones pc attached to multiple hard drives using the TV as a monitor? What's the best storage? I figure at least 2TB expandable with some kind of parity drive so I can't lose anything. I don't know too much about RAID drives or servers or anything. Willing to spend upwards of $2k if I can stop burning movies to disk. Any suggestions? I've spent hours looking into this but can't put my finger on the best scenario. |
