ati wont help me out they keep saying they dont suport notbooks but they have the driver the problem im having is it wont pick up my video memor what should i do

Whoa, all of your words are missing at least one letter! And no punctuation and capitalization! Considering you're already a bronze member, you seriously need to work on your English skills.

If ATI says they don't support notebooks why insist that they should or would?

That is why it is not working...it is not supported...geez!

So Berny, if I understand this correctly, he installed Vista on his laptop, but the driver for his ATI video card does not work, correct?

Haha, yeah, no way around it, Tim. Go back to XP.

thats the problem. im not sure if its a driver issue or not because its picking up the card a 9600 mobility radeon but not the memory on the card

Yes we can understand that it would pick up the card. But if it is not suported, your notebook will default to the native video memory.
