Sunday, August 06, 2006 - 14:50 GMT I am planning to buy a laptop (undecided as to which one) and was wondering if there would be any audible difference in a cd burnt on a laptop and that which is burnt on a desktop? I have heard that the sound quality deteriorates on a laptop. is this true? Thanks in advance....

Monday, August 07, 2006 - 09:57 GMT Thanks Berny... By "compression" do you refer to the "compression" of an audio file to be burnt on the cd, as in the deterioration heard in an mp3?
