I have a Dell Ultrascan P991 monitor, and it has a purple haze on the bottom left hand corner of the screen. What causes this and how can I fix it?

I'd guess some motor or something has caused the color to be off. Does the monitor have degaussing? You have to get the screen degaussed. If the monitor does not have it,I'm not sure how you can fix it.
