So im going to be buying a new comp tomorrow, but i still cant decide between 2 of them. I start school for computers in jan but that doesnt help me out to much right now.So basically its comming down to 2 differnt comps. They both have 200 gig hard drive 512 ram all the stats are pretty much the same except one is a athlon64 3500+ the other is the P4 with HT at 3.0 ghz. I mostly am going to use this to play games. BF2, soilder of fortune , games like that. Anyway from what i understand amd is better for gaming but not so good at multi-tasking. Which one will be of more use in the future? Does the fact that the new p4 chip is 64 bit make it equal to the amd? And which one would you recommend.
